Our platform is tailored for sincere candidates and families who are genuinely committed to finding compatible and companionable life partners. The purpose of data collection on MatrimonyAssist is to connect families who are seeking compatible marriage partners for their loved ones.

- Without gathering candidate information (e.g., preferences, interests, compatibility indicators, family details), MatrimonyAssist cannot introduce families to one another.
- The processing directly supports the matchmaking function that users expect from the platform. We respect the privacy and autonomy of our users. Once the purpose of the platform has been fulfilled, users have the option to delete their account. MatrimonyAssist offers two types of deletion options:
- Soft Delete: The account and associated data are no longer visible or searchable on the platform or public domain, but some data may be retained temporarily for administrative purposes.
- Hard Delete: All user data is permanently erased from our database, ensuring complete removal. At MatrimonyAssist, we are committed to safeguarding user information and providing a seamless, respectful, and secure experience for families on their matchmaking journey.

While we have taken extensive measures to ensure our platform is reliable and fit for purpose, like any product, the MatrimonyAssist App may occasionally encounter unexpected bugs or issues. To address such concerns effectively, we have implemented a straightforward and user-friendly process that allows users to report any problems or provide feedback directly to the platform administrators. This ensures that issues are promptly reviewed and resolved, and users receive timely responses. To facilitate this process, we collect only the essential information needed to manage and resolve user concerns. This includes: Name, Contact details, User message or issue description.

How long we keep information
At MatrimonyAssist, we prioritize the privacy and security of our users' data. Our data management practices are designed to ensure that information is handled responsibly and deleted when no longer needed.
- Verification Documents:
Verification documents uploaded by users are deleted immediately after the verification process is complete. This process is typically completed on the same day as registration but may take additional time depending on the volume of requests. In any case, verification documents are deleted as soon as the verification is finalized. - Personally Identifiable Information (PII):
Users have full control over their personally identifiable information (PII) and can delete their data themselves when the purpose of using our platform has been achieved. - Hard Deletion:
To ensure complete removal of data, the MatrimonyAssist system administrator performs a hard delete of user data one year after the user has deleted their account. This process permanently erases all data from our database, leaving no trace behind.
By following these measures, MatrimonyAssist is committed to safeguarding user data while providing a secure and respectful experience for all.
Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose your Information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.
In addition, we may disclose your Information to third parties:

We do need to keep some anonymous information for longer than this, such as subscriptions habits and patterns, so we can analyse it to identify trends and changes in activity. We remove all names, contact details and any other information that identify individual customers, so it’s all just anonymous numbers and data.
